About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Designer to join our early-stage team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for shaping the core user experiences of A1’s pioneering AI products. Your work will involve translating complex AI capabilities into simple, human-centered designs that foster trust and engagement. This is a high-ownership position where you will lead end-to-end design processes—from conceptualization to implementation—collaborating closely with product, engineering, and AI teams. Your designs will influence how users discover value, interact with intelligent systems, and build lasting relationships with our products. You will play a key role in defining new interaction paradigms for AI-driven experiences, setting the foundation for how users worldwide will engage with frontier technology.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a product or UX designer, with a portfolio demonstrating work on web and mobile products
- Proficiency in Figma and rapid prototyping tools
- Strong understanding of interaction design principles, layout, visual hierarchy, and design systems
- Experience working closely with engineers and product managers in fast-paced environments
- Ability to design from incomplete inputs and evolving requirements
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process for one or more AI product surfaces, from initial concept through to production deployment
- Design intuitive user flows that make advanced AI capabilities feel natural, simple, and usable
- Partner with product, engineering, and AI teams to explore problem spaces, test ideas, and iterate rapidly
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for web and mobile platforms
- Rapidly prototype and refine new interaction models, especially for AI-driven experiences
- Conduct usability testing, synthesize user feedback, and incorporate insights to enhance product design
- Help define and evolve A1’s design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency
- Advocate for user needs while balancing product velocity and technical constraints
