Product Designer - Design Systems

For our client, we are seeking a Product Designer - Design Systems to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will shape high-impact initiatives at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and execution. You will partner across technical and business teams to turn complex ideas into scalable solutions and meaningful outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to influence both roadmap priorities and long-term organizational capability.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $217,000 – $285,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Lead design for Blocks, the internal design system used across products
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to align Figma library with codebase
  • Evolve the design system based on product needs and user feedback
  • Advocate for a user-first approach that drives community value
  • Analyze metrics to inform design decisions that enhance user experience
  • Mentor and guide fellow designers, fostering a learning culture
  • Communicate UX rationale to stakeholders through storytelling and data insights
  • Drive A/B testing and measure UX improvements with product and analytics teams
  • Ensure user experience accessibility by following best practices
  • Stay current with trends in advertising UX, AI-driven personalization, and visual design

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in systems design, UX design, product design, or related field
  • Expertise in design systems and usability principles with a strong portfolio
  • Deep understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Proficient in Figma's design system tooling
  • Familiar with technical integrations linking Figma to code
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills for stakeholder engagement
  • Experience with A/B testing and analytics tools to gauge design impact
  • Passionate about industry trends, especially in social media UX
