Job Description – UI/UX Designer (Logistics App)
A logistics platform designed to simplify delivery management for businesses and individuals. Our mission is to make deliveries smarter, faster, and more transparent by connecting customers, riders, and admins in one seamless system.
We are currently building our web-based logistics application, which will include dedicated experiences for:
- Users (Customers): Book, track, and manage shipments.
- Riders (Delivery Agents): Receive delivery requests, update status, and navigate efficiently.
- Admins: Oversee operations, manage riders and orders, and access reporting dashboards.
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer who will design intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces across these three user roles.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define user requirements.
- Design end-to-end user experiences for customers, riders, and admins.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web applications.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
- Develop and maintain a design system/style guide to ensure consistency across all user roles.
- Optimize designs for accessibility, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Iterate quickly based on stakeholder and user feedback.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role in SaaS, logistics, or marketplace platforms.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centric web or mobile designs.
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design tools.
- Understanding of user research methods and usability testing.
- Knowledge of responsive design principles.
- Ability to design for multiple user types (customers, admins, riders) in a cohesive system.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing logistics, e-commerce, or delivery-focused applications.
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Next.js) to better collaborate with developers.
- Knowledge of design tokens, component libraries, or design systems.
