Position: Part-Time Plumbing Designer / Plumbing Engineer

Schedule: As-needed (5–10 hours/month)

Compensation: Hourly

Clayborn Engineering is seeking an experienced plumbing designer to review risers/isometrics and ensure code compliance for residential + small commercial TI projects.

Responsibilities

• Review plumbing isometric and riser diagrams
• Identify code issues (UPC/IPC) and provide correction notes
• Review fixture counts, venting, trap layouts, sizing
• Guide team on AHJ expectations and permit pitfalls
• Optional: contribute to drafting standards and checklists
• Other duties may be assigned based on operational needs

Requirements

• 10+ years plumbing design or inspection experience
• Strong knowledge of UPC/IPC
• U.S.-based
• PE or CPD preferred but not required
