Job Description:


Aakar Intimates Pvt. Ltd., a leading name in fashion and intimate wear, is seeking an experienced and skilled Freelance Pattern Designer with a strong background in creating precise and innovative patterns for swimwear, beachwear, and westernwear. The ideal candidate should have deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience in the fashion industry, especially in stretch fabrics and body-fitted silhouettes.


Key Responsibilities:


Develop accurate and production-ready patterns for swimwear, beachwear, and westernwear lines.


Work closely with the design and product development teams to interpret design concepts and translate them into patterns.


Ensure fit, sizing consistency, and garment balance across all products.


Make pattern adjustments based on fitting sessions and feedback.


Maintain digital and physical pattern libraries.


Collaborate remotely and meet design deadlines.


Requirements:


10–15 years of experience in pattern making, preferably in high-end or export fashion segments.


Strong understanding of garment construction, grading, and fit for swimwear and westernwear.


Proficient in manual and/or digital pattern making (experience with CAD software is a plus).


Eye for detail, precision, and creativity.


Ability to work independently and manage freelance projects efficiently.
