The project involves creating and managing media, technical, and marketing work for clients. The video editor will be responsible for transforming Zoom-recorded webinars into engaging online courses and supporting other video content needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit long-form video content into short, engaging modules.
- Create and incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, and transitions to enhance visual storytelling.
- Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and meet platform specifications (e.g., Thinkific, Udemy).
- Collaborate with instructional designers and content creators to produce high-quality educational content.
- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines.
- Prepare videos for final delivery, optimizing for online learning platforms and various formats.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in video editing, specifically Motion Graphics (portfolio or showreel required).
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent).
- Basic knowledge of adding graphics, text overlays, and transitions.
- Experience preparing videos for online learning platforms is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow quality standards.
- Excellent communication, written and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
System Requirements:
- Reliable computer capable of running professional video editing software.
- Sufficient storage for handling large video files.
- Stable internet connection of at least 100 Mbps.
- Access to email, Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, or similar collaboration tools.
