Overview
The
Mobile Product Designer
will focus on creating digital commercial experiences in the
travel industry
, with a strong emphasis on
mobile-first design
and additional support for responsive web experiences.
*You must have experience in mobile travel booking user experience process AND experience with AI for UX. **Experience for loyalty will not be considered; must be mobile booking.
The role centers on designing
conversion-driven user journeys
for purchasing travel packages and onboard goods, ensuring seamless, engaging experiences that drive adoption and revenue. Candidates with backgrounds in travel booking and digital commerce are strongly preferred, especially those with experience at leading organizations in the sector.

Schedule: Remote, regular business hours in EST time zone
Duration: 6+ months
Pay: $65 - $73/hr, paid weekly, benefits eligible
Mobile Product Designer Requirements
- Proven expertise in UX and UI design for digital commerce.
- Strong portfolio showcasing mobile-heavy product design , with examples of web-responsive work.
- Must have experience in travel-related digital experiences OR similar , including inspiration, exploration, checkout, and payment flows.
- Background in travel booking and digital experience design (e.g., Expedia, Booking.com, Hopper, Kayak, or similar organizations).
- Demonstrated ability to design seamless conversion-focused user journeys in mobile-first environments.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI applications across one or more of the following pillars:
- Creative Companion : ideation, rapid prototyping, expanding creative possibilities.
- Efficiency Improvements : automating repetitive tasks (e.g., image refinement), accelerating design-to-development cycles.
- Agentic Experiences : building interactive, adaptive guest journeys with AI-powered personalization.
Mobile Product Designer Duties
- Design conversion-focused digital journeys for travel booking and onboard purchases.
- Develop mobile-first design solutions, ensuring accessibility, responsiveness, and usability across devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate travel business goals into user-centered product design.
- Apply expertise in commerce flows, including checkout, payment, and package purchasing experiences.
- Leverage GenAI tools and methodologies to accelerate ideation, streamline workflows, and create adaptive, personalized user journeys.
- Deliver prototypes, wireframes, and final design assets that balance business objectives with user needs .
- Ensure that digital experiences are engaging, efficient, and aligned with industry best practices in travel commerce.
