Designs, develops, and delivers/implements innovative and creative learning solutions (web-based training, technical training videos, job aids, guides, etc.) utilizing a variety of methods and eLearning authoring toolsCollaborates with subject matter experts (SMEs) and key business partners to develop and deliver learning solutions using adult learning principles to enhance the learning experienceCommunicates and collaborates with Education instructors on learning solution deliverablesDemonstrates in-depth knowledge of and applies the latest relevant research and methodologies in instructional designLeverages the principles of user experience and responsive designEmploys agile, iterative development methodologiesLeads, monitors, and reports on the progress of projects, ensuring the accuracy of status reports and data related to team metricsFlexes with business strategy changes and acts as a key contributor in a complex environmentCreates and maintains detailed project plans for each projectBalance workload in a fast-paced environment, while working on multiple concurrent projects
Professional Skills & Key Competencies
Industry experience with customer support organizations and/or medical devices product implementation and support in a global environment preferred.Ability to develop learning solutions/deliverables based on knowledge of learning methodologies, cognitive science, user-centered design research, adult learning requirements, needs assessment and evaluationCan quickly learn new products, applications, and systemsEffective communicator: an individual who possesses skilled written/verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to present his/her views in a clear and compelling mannerAdaptability; learns quickly and responds positively to complexity and changeComfortable working in an environment that is constantly evolving
Desired/Additional Skills & Knowledge:
Experience with Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Captivate, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other learning authoring tools are requiredExperience developing eLearning (web-based training modules), technical training videos (script writing, production, and video editing), documentation, presentations and other training materials maintained in a Learning Management System (LMS)
