Marketing Graphic Designer (Part Time)

THE ROLE

We need a versatile designer who can create scroll-stopping social content, design a beautiful website, and occasionally jump into Figma for UI tweaks. You will work directly with the marketing lead to shape how The 1% looks to the world.

This role is 70% marketing design (social, web, ads) and 30% product design (occasional UI updates). If you also have video editing skills, that's a major advantage.

Marketing Design (70%)

●    Design social media assets for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Facebook (posts, stories, reels covers, carousels)

●    Create website pages and landing pages in Figma (we handle development)

●    Design email marketing visuals and newsletter headers

●    Produce ad creatives for Meta, TikTok, and Apple Search Ads

●    Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints

●    Video Editing (Big Plus): Edit short-form video content for social (reels, TikToks, ads) — this is highly desirable

Product Design (30%)

●    Occasional UI updates to the app (button tweaks, new screen layouts)

●    Prepare App Store screenshots and preview assets for updates

●    Maintain a simple component library for marketing assets

WHO YOU ARE

●    You live in Figma. You can whip up a social post, a landing page, or a mobile screen with equal ease.

●    You have a portfolio showcasing social media design, branding, or website work

●    You understand what stops the scroll and what builds trust

●    You can work independently and manage your time across multiple projects

●    You communicate clearly and welcome feedback

●    You are available during some overlap with Malaysia / US time zones for quick syncs

VIDEO EDITING (BIG PLUS)

If you can edit videos, we are looking for:

●    Short-form edits (15–60 seconds) for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and ads

●    Basic motion graphics (text overlays, captions, simple animations)

●    Ability to work with raw footage from events or influencer content

Tools: CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or After Effects.

NICE TO HAVE

●    Experience designing for social platforms or luxury/lifestyle brands

●    Basic understanding of iOS design guidelines (for occasional UI work)

●    Interest in exclusive communities, luxury branding, or high-net-worth audiences

●    Experience with After Effects or simple motion design
