Learning Experience Designer, 2 Hour Learning (Remote) - $100,000/year USD

Do you possess the ability to parse the subtleties of a Shakespearean sonnet and deconstruct the phonetic components of a word with equal proficiency? Picture applying that depth of linguistic and literary knowledge alongside advanced AI to revolutionize how millions of learners achieve mastery in language and literature. 2 Hour Learning isn't simply shaping the future of English instruction—we're designing it as an immersive, adaptive learning journey.

We are looking for a visionary professional to spearhead our initiative to transform English and Language Arts instruction through sophisticated data analysis, innovative AI integration, and profound subject matter knowledge. Your objective? To accelerate student comprehension of language concepts and literary analysis by a factor of two, spanning from foundational phonics to sophisticated literary criticism.

2 Hour Learning is redefining K-12 education with measurable outcomes. Our AI-powered learning platform is reshaping student learning experiences, allowing them to achieve subject mastery at double the pace of conventional schooling. We are not adjusting the existing system; we are reconstructing it entirely, and our data validates its effectiveness. Students on our platform routinely score 4s and 5s on five or more AP exams, exhibit growth exceeding two years on annual MAP assessments, and surpass their own expectations of achievement.

If you are prepared to deploy deep ELA expertise within an AI system already delivering proven results, submit your application now.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Examine student reading and writing performance metrics — including Reel engagement, MAP scores, and assessment outcomes — leveraging AI workflows and LLM orchestrations to pinpoint learning gaps and develop targeted interventions. (Approximately 40% of your time.)
  • Building AI-driven tools that respond to diverse learning styles, rendering grammar intuitive, vocabulary acquisition engaging, and literary analysis approachable for students across all proficiency levels.
  • Creating dynamic learning sequences that adjust in real-time, shepherding students from phonics through the interpretation of complex texts, ensuring each learner advances at an optimized rate.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, assessment specialists, and AI engineers to ensure content alignment with curriculum standards and validate the accuracy of AI-generated materials.
  • Converting classic and contemporary literature into interactive, AI-enriched experiences that both educate students and spark their enthusiasm for reading and writing.

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Overseeing traditional English curricula or executing administrative duties—this position centers on innovation and strategic enhancement of how language arts are delivered and absorbed within our accelerated framework.
  • Manually grading stacks of essays — AI manages the assessment workload so you can concentrate on refining the system, not marking papers.
  • Teaching toward standardized test preparation — students at 2 Hour Learning already exceed AP benchmarks, allowing you to focus on deepening mastery rather than drilling for compliance.
