About the Opportunity:
The organization provides a platform to help businesses deliver outstanding customer support and has operated as a fully remote company since 2011. The team consists of over 140 people worldwide, supporting more than 12,000 companies. The Lead/Principal Brand Designer will define and evolve the organization's brand, ensuring all customer-facing materials align with strategic initiatives and business goals. This role sets visual standards, mentors team members, and ensures brand consistency across channels.
Responsibilities:
• Execute work that defines and evolves the look and feel of the brand
• Set visual standards for the team, tied to strategic initiatives and business impact
• Own and implement design systems, frameworks, and reference documents
• Inspire and mentor teammates to foster consistency and elevate the brand
• Ensure all customer-facing materials align with the organization's brand standards
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners to take projects from concept to completion
Requirements:
• Exceptional visual design skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to lead by example and remain open to feedback
• Effective communicator, skilled in prototyping and asynchronous collaboration
• Experience handling multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Ability to root work in performance metrics and business strategy
• Capable of identifying and proposing impactful tactics
• Skilled in knowing when to use time-saving approaches and when to build new systems
• Acts as a role model and culture leader who provides clarity amid ambiguity
