This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile, multidisciplinary projects ranging from exhibitions to immersive environments, collaborating with visual designers, content specialists, consultants, and clients. The role is remote for U.S.-based candidates, offering flexibility while maintaining close collaboration with the New York–based team. Key Responsibilities:Lead the physical design of complex projects, including exhibitions, galleries, and immersive environments, from concept through construction documentationDevelop and refine gallery schemes, drawing sets, material specifications, and schedulesLead client presentations, workshops, and design discussionsCollaborate with project management to monitor budgets, schedules, and staffingEstablish workflows, drawing protocols, and design standards for the teamAssign and coordinate design tasks, mentoring junior designers and overseeing their workEnsure design intent is fully realized in collaboration with architects, engineers, consultants, and fabricatorsContribute to the creative development of cohesive, engaging visitor experiences
Key Skills/Requirements:7+ years of professional experience in exhibition, architectural, or interior design, with a strong portfolio of completed projectsDegree in Exhibit Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related fieldProven track record of leading at least 3 full-scale exhibition projects from concept through deliveryHands-on expertise in detailing, production, and construction documentationFamiliarity with international project standards, including HOAS/HOAI scopes of workAdvanced proficiency with Vectorworks and/or Revit (BIM 360 experience a plus); skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and Google WorkspaceExperience creating 3D models in Rhino or SketchUp; strong visualization skills and Adobe Creative Suite proficiency preferredExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teamsComfortable working remotely or on-site, with flexibility for client meetings and occasional travelHighly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
