Cabinet Deisgner - Microvellum

Work remotely from the Philippines for a well-established New Zealand joinery company producing high-quality custom cabinetry and fitouts. This is a long-term position where your designs go straight into production kitchens, bathrooms, commercial joinery, and everything in between. What You'll Be Doing

You'll produce detailed cabinet designs and shop drawings for a busy NZ joinery workshop, working directly with the project and production teams to ensure every design is manufacture-ready and meets client specifications. You'll be a core part of the design workflow not just drafting, but problem-solving and refining layouts from concept through to cut-list.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed cabinet and joinery designs using Microvellum and BricsCAD
• Create accurate shop drawings, cut lists, and CNC-ready outputs for production
• Design kitchens, vanities, wardrobes, laundries, and commercial joinery fitouts
• Interpret architectural plans and specifications to develop manufacture-ready designs
• Coordinate with the NZ production team to resolve design queries and ensure buildability
• Manage multiple projects and meet production deadlines consistently

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 3 years' experience in cabinet/joinery design
• Strong working proficiency in Microvellum (essential)
• Experience with BricsCAD or equivalent CAD platform
• Solid understanding of cabinet construction methods, hardware, and materials
• Experience producing CNC-ready outputs and cut lists
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
