Our client base consists of about 50% small businesses, 50% large institutions (publishing houses, universities), across the USA.
We are known for superior creativity in design and problem solving, plus meticulous attention to detail that persists through every project phase – so clients receive fully realized deliverables without chasing loose ends.
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to execute production under established brand guidelines and senior direction. This role supports core services with precise finishing. No primary ideation, just reliable execution across digital and print.
Key Responsibilities
- Using supplied content, follow provided brand guidelines and creative direction to produce supporting materials, such as website subpage layouts, promotional materials, publications, illustration refinements, social graphics, and print assets.
- Ensure color accuracy and consistency across digital (RGB) and print (CMYK) formats, including conversions, profiles, and proofs.
- Assist with mockups, resizing assets across formats, and finishing touches on client jobs (e.g., logos, illustrations, marketing materials).
- Organize and manage file libraries (e.g., via Google Drive or similar).
- Collaborate via Slack for feedback loops and updates.
Required Skills & Tools
- Graphic design fundamentals: form & function, visual hierarchy, layout & composition, typography, color theory.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop (primary tools).
- Understanding of color management for digital (RGB/HEX) and print (CMYK), including profiles, proofs, and cross-platform consistency.
- Comfort with Slack, Google Docs/Sheets, Microsoft Word/Excel for collaboration and docs.
- Canva – only for specific shared-access assets and occasional social content (not as a core design tool)
- Strong eye for detail, ability to work independently within guidelines, and time management for deadlines.
Bonus Skills (Highly Valued, Not Required)
- Creative illustration skills (and refining concepts into polished vector or digital artwork)
- Basic video editing skills (e.g., using Capcut, Canva, or Adobe to create reels and longer format YouTube videos)
Ideal Candidate
- Junior level (0-2 years experience; recent grads encouraged).
- Portfolio showing execution of brand-aligned designs (e.g., resizing, mockups, finishing, color-managed outputs).
- Reliable self-starter comfortable with remote async work.
- Able to independently manage schedule and workload to consistently meet project deadlines.
Perks
- Flexible schedule around your life – you make your own schedule.
- Guaranteed minimum hours for stability.
- Remote freedom worldwide.
- Gain hands-on experience with real client projects for small businesses and large institutions.
- Potential to grow into leading projects with training.
