The Junior Creative is responsible for developing design concepts and solutions to address project requirements such as utilizing software and other tools to create mood boards, design pegs, presentations, CAD plans and 3D models that comply with the design standards, and ensure that designs are functional, and aesthetically pleasing to manage client expectations. He/She is responsible for assisting with site analysis and research, conducting periodic site inspections to inform design decisions, and coordinating with consultants and vendors. The role also includes preparing budgets and cost estimates, sourcing materials, and creating design manuals that align with company standards. Additionally, this person will support the team with procurement and styling for design-build projects as needed

Preferred Qualifications / Experience (not mentioned above or in the JD):

• knowledgeable in interior design standards, guidelines and dimensions

• knowledgeable in reading construction drawings & engineering drawings (MEPFS)

• proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch-up & Enscape for doing 2D, 3D and renders

• proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) for costing and presentation - basic knowledge in Adobe Photoshop for post-editing

SOFT SKILLS:

• ability to manage time, prioritize tasks and deadlines

• resourceful and updated in new design trends, construction methods & materials and FFE pieces

• strong attention to detail and design conceptualization

• excellent listening, communication and presentation skills

• highly creative and well-organized

• Licensed in Interior Design is a plus
