About LearnToCut
LearnToCut is one of the world’s leading barbering education platforms, with 680+ students globally, major international events, and a fast-growing creative studio based in Miami.
We are entering a new luxury-era brand direction inspired by Aime Leon Dore, Saint Laurent, Gradient, and modern editorial design. We are looking for someone who can elevate the entire aesthetic of our Instagram, YouTube, and brand presence through intentional visual direction, premium design, and clean editorial layouts.
Your work will directly influence how the world sees LearnToCut.
Role Overview
This is not a basic graphic design job.
We are hiring someone with strong taste who understands luxury visuals and can create a consistent editorial brand identity across all platforms.
Responsibilities1. Premium Cover Art Creation
- Design clean, high-conversion cover art for reels, YouTube thumbnails, and short-form content
- Turn raw haircut shots, event photos, and frames into editorial-style covers
- Use luxury typography when needed
- Optimize for click-through rate and watch time
- Grid Planning and Visual Rhythm
- Plan the Instagram grid 2–4 weeks ahead
- Build a balanced grid mixing editorial covers, haircut shots, lifestyle images, event moments, and typography slides
- Maintain consistent color story, brand tone, and visual identity
- Work Closely With Our Video Editor
- Choose frames for covers and thumbnails
- Decide color palettes, text placement, and visual tone
- Ensure the video and the cover feel cohesive
- Give direction on cropping, lighting, and composition
- Build Reusable Design Systems
- Create branded templates for:
- Covers
- Stories
- Carousels
- Testimonials
- Event promos
- Design PDF covers for education modules and events
- Build a unified brand identity inspired by luxury editorial brands
- Increase Conversion Performance
- Improve CTR through design testing
- A/B test variations
- Study performance data and optimize visual strategy
- Analyze competitor thumbnails and stay ahead of trends
- Elevate Overall Visual Identity
Including:
- Instagram covers
- YouTube thumbnails
- Event visuals
- Campaign design
- Moodboards
- Premium composition for all visual assets
- Support Future Product Branding
- Assist in early-stage visual direction for grooming products such as clays, combs, and premium accessories
Required Skills and Experience
You must have:
- Experience designing luxury, fashion, editorial, or lifestyle social media
- A portfolio demonstrating strong taste, minimalism, spacing, and refined design
- Mastery of typography (serif, script, spacing, composition)
- Ability to create cinematic, editorial visuals from raw images
- Experience producing consistent branding systems
- Ability to plan and manage visual grids
- Strong collaboration skills with editors and content creators
- Fast, reliable, and organized execution
Bonus experience:
- Men’s fashion or grooming industry
- Photography or color grading understanding
- Brand storytelling or documentary-style design
