๐ About the Role
Weโre looking for a detail-oriented
Instrumentation Designer
to design and support instrumentation and control systems for industrial and engineering projects.
Youโll work on sensors, measurement systems, and control integration in a fully remote environment.
๐ฏ What Youโll Do
- Design instrumentation layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Select and specify sensors, transmitters, and control devices
- Develop P&IDs and instrumentation documentation
- Collaborate with control systems and engineering teams
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Review and optimize instrumentation system performance
- Maintain accurate design and technical documentation
๐ ๏ธ Tools & Technologies
- CAD tools (AutoCAD, MicroStation)
- Instrumentation design tools
- P&ID development tools
- PLC/SCADA basics (a plus)
- Excel for documentation and data tracking
โ What Weโre Looking For
- 3โ6 years of experience in instrumentation or control system design
- Strong understanding of sensors, measurement systems, and instrumentation
- Experience with P&IDs and technical drawings
- Ability to interpret engineering specifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
- Diploma or degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or related field
- Full working rights in Australia
