Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to design, develop, and deliver engaging learning experiences for a highly regulated environment. This role combines instructional design expertise with strong visual design and storytelling skills to create training programs that drive organizational performance.

Responsibilities

Design and develop instructional materials: e-learning modules, live workshops, learning guides, manuals, and assessments. Build interactive learning using Articulate Storyline/Rise and integrate SCORM/xAPI packages into LMS platforms. Script and produce video learning content using Vyond and/or Synthesia; integrate AI avatars, animations, and voiceovers. Apply graphic design principles to create high-impact visuals, infographics, slides, and branded training assets (Canva, Adobe Suite, PowerPoint). Partner with business stakeholders and SMEs to assess training needs, identify knowledge gaps, and define instructional objectives. Implement training solutions across platforms (LMS, SharePoint, MS Teams) and adapt quickly to feedback. Evaluate effectiveness of learning interventions through assessments, surveys, and performance metrics. Introduce innovative learning strategies and contribute to continuous improvement of instructional practices. May provide light management/lead responsibilities for instructors or project teams.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Education, or related field preferred). Experience: 2+ years of instructional design or training experience (3-5 years preferred). Industry background: Highly preferred experience in pharma, medical device, or other regulated industries; large corporate enterprise environment experience is a plus. Core Skills:Instructional design, curriculum development, needs analysis, evaluation. Mastery of Articulate Storyline/Rise. Experience with animation/video production tools (Vyond preferred, Synthesia a plus). Strong graphic design skills with Canva, PowerPoint, Adobe tools. Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging narratives. Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills. Adaptability and growth mindset.
