Overview & ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking two experienced and highly-skilled Instructional Designer IIs to join a leading SaaS company's internal training team. In this role, you will be essential in creating engaging and effective learning experiences for the global technical support organization. You will tackle a variety of high-impact projects, from developing training for major AI product launches to refreshing the new hire onboarding program. This is a fast-paced environment where your expertise in multimedia, video, and innovative learning solutions will directly enable the success of internal teams. You will…• Design and develop engaging learning solutions, including e-learning, virtual instructor-led training (vILT), microlearning, and videos.• Create technical training for new product launches, product updates, and evolving internal processes, with a focus on AI offerings.• Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex technical topics into clear, concise, and effective training materials.• Utilize authoring tools like Articulate Rise 360 and multimedia software like Adobe Creative Suite to build interactive courses, assessments, and videos.• Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the new hire training program for technical support.• Track and manage project progress and report on deliverables using Asana.
Required Qualifications• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as an Instructional Designer.• Proven proficiency with Articulate Rise 360 and the Google Suite.• Strong multimedia development skills, with hands-on experience using tools from the Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere).• Demonstrated experience designing and developing training content for technical subject matter.• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.• An online portfolio of work samples showcasing a variety of learning solutions, including multimedia and video assets.
Preferred Qualifications• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.• Experience using generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to accelerate content creation.• Experience developing training for a technical support or customer service audience in a SaaS company.• Experience designing learning for a global, remote audience.
