INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER
SHIFT: NIGHT / GRAVEYARD PHT
TYPE: FULL TIME; INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR
We are presently looking for a qualified, creative, innovative and motivated individual who has the creative flair to bring the client's product to the attention of the consumer using a product merchandising display.
Main Functions:
- Under the direction of the Design Manager and in association with the sales team, the designer has to develop various creative concepts of promotional product merchandising displays based on the requested direction of the client.
- The designer will explore various options that are available using various kinds of materials and given the required retail environment and always respecting the brand specification and client budget. The designer will also be responsible for generating technical specifications that will be sent into the Estimation group to generate up a quote.
- Ideally you have experience in the display manufacturing environment as a designer or draft technician and you are proficient with Autocad. The ability to free-hand sketch will be an asset.
- The candidate has very good knowledge of the following software: 3D STUDIO MAX – IN DESIGN & SUITE OFFICE - ILLUSTRATOR CREATIVE Suite 5 – PHOTOSHOP (Corel Draw- Excel and Adobe Creative Suite = important assets). The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of the functionality of the materials used in displays. (Cardboard, wood, plastic, acrylic, metal)
Home Office Requirements:
- Internet Connection : Must be 25 mbps at the least, preferably wired connection with PLDT, Cable connection is fine if it's more than 5mbps. We DO NOT accept plug-ins, wi-fi or wimax.
- Computer/Laptop: The contractor must have a good working computer.
- Headsets : The Contractor must have noise cancelling headsets preferably Plantronics Blackwire C320M headsets. Assessment will be done during test calls.
- Dedicated Home Office - Contractors are required to have a dedicated home office free from noise and distractions.
- Webcam - for meeting purposes
- Must be comfortable in working with Time Doctor/Screenshot Monitor
