Position Overview

We are seeking a creative, strategic, and highly skilled Graphic Designer & Video Editor to join our marketing team. This is a part-time position (20 hours per week) with the potential to transition into a full-time, paid role as the company continues to scale.

You’ll play a key role in shaping our brand identity across digital platforms, marketing campaigns, product launches, social media, and more. Your design and video work will help Higher Solutions stand out in a competitive SaaS market, driving engagement, conversions, and customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

Graphic Design

  • Develop and execute visually appealing marketing assets, including digital ads, landing pages, email templates, infographics, case studies, and presentation decks.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints, evolving and refining the Higher Solutions visual identity.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing, product, and growth teams to translate strategic goals into high-impact visual content.
  • Design creative assets for CRM UI mockups, app visuals, and customer success materials.
  • Create visuals for blog posts, social media, and campaigns that communicate complex SaaS concepts clearly and engagingly.

Video Editing & Motion Graphics

  • Plan, storyboard, and edit marketing and product videos, including promotional videos, explainer videos, testimonials, and product demos.
  • Create short-form content for social media platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, etc.).
  • Integrate animations, motion graphics, and transitions to bring concepts to life and elevate storytelling.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video scripts and storylines aligned with campaign goals.
  • Manage all aspects of post-production, including color correction, audio mixing, and optimizing video for web and social distribution.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in graphic design and video editing (preferably in SaaS, tech, or startup environments).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro) or equivalent tools.
  • Strong understanding of brand design, color theory, typography, and layout principles.
  • Experience designing for both web and social platforms.
  • Portfolio showcasing creative design and video work relevant to SaaS or B2B marketing.
  • Strong storytelling and conceptual thinking abilities.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with tools like Figma, Canva, or Webflow.
  • Understanding of UI/UX design principles.
  • Familiarity with CRM or SaaS product marketing.
  • Experience creating 2D/3D animations or motion graphics.
  • Basic understanding of marketing analytics and A/B testing creative assets.
