Graphic Designer for Advertising Agency (REMOTE)

Summary

We’re AdSquad: An advertising agency that works with brands of all kinds – ecommerce, B2B, startups, and creators – to build attention-grabbing ad creatives that drive real results. We’re now looking for a creative and reliable Graphic Designer to join our growing team!

We’re looking for a flexible, creative graphic designer who can work on ad creatives with a fast turnaround time in a creative environment with a varying workload – someone who will join our core creative team and is able to work flexibly with varying project workloads from week to week.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create compelling ad creatives suited for advertisements on social and advertising platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, LinkedIn, YouTube)
  • Work with provided photos and graphics – and work with Canva and other preferred tools – to create creative designs and variants as needed
  • Follow brand guidelines and creative briefs
  • Apply feedback quickly and professionally
  • Occasionally source visuals as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 2 years of experience crafting static creatives for paid ads (Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, LinkedIn)
  • At least 2 years of experience in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Figma (or similar tools)
  • Strong understanding of color theory, typography, layout design, and design principles is a must
  • Proven experience designing strong ad creatives for a strong brand variety for social media and advertising
  • Ability to work what creatives with performance and conversion in mind
  • Good understanding of marketing hooks, pacing, and storytelling

Payment & Role Structure:

  • This role is an Independent Contractor role with varying hours.
  • This role is structured around a Milestone structure – where payment is issued on a per project basis, instead of hourly. We will want to know your preferred rates for each project type: Per creative, if it varies by dimensions, multiple variants, revisions, etc.
  • We’re looking for someone to join our core creative team to be available as creative requests come in (with sufficient lead time).

  • Fluency in English (written and verbal)

  • Communicative, collaborative, and open to feedback
  • Experience with Monday.com and Slack preferred
  • Bonus: Experience with video editing paid aids (long-form and short-form)
