Position: Graphic Designer – Prepress / Final Art Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer with expertise in prepress and final art preparation to ensure designs are optimized for accurate reproduction in print media. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, deep understanding of print requirements, and advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and optimize final artwork for print, ensuring files meet printer specifications.
  • Set up and manage  color profiles, bleeds, crop marks, and resolutions  to guarantee high-quality print output.
  • Review and adjust layouts, typography, and graphics to ensure accuracy before production.
  • Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to adapt designs for different print formats (brochures, packaging, signage, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot prepress issues and ensure timely delivery of print-ready files.
  • Work closely with printing vendors to ensure files are compliant and production-ready.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a  Graphic Designer with strong prepress/final art background .
  • Proficiency in  Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop  (InDesign knowledge is a plus).
  • Solid understanding of  print production processes, color management, CMYK/RGB, and paper/print finishes .
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with large-format printing and packaging design.
  • Familiarity with other design tools (CorelDRAW, Acrobat Pro).
  • Knowledge of digital prepress standards and trends.
