Mooning is an advisory, marketing and creative studio built for the brands shaping what’s next. We use emerging technology, including AI to help companies grow faster, look better and operate smarter. Strategy, brand, content, growth hacking, M&A. All under one roof, all powered by people who actually know this space.
The opportunity:
If you’re a gun graphic designer who thinks visually before anything else, this is your role.
You’ll get paid to create standout visuals including social graphics, campaign assets, brand identity work, photo edits and everything in between for Web2 and Web3 companies. You’ll ideally also have experience with print.
You’ll work directly with our creative and strategy teams to produce assets across multiple client projects. The briefs are varied, the pace is fast and the quality bar is high. We want someone who cares about the craft, not just clearing the queue.
NOTE: You must include a link to your portfolio in your application. Your application will not be considered without examples of your work.
What you’ll be doing:
You will work directly with our team to create graphics and visual assets our clients are genuinely proud of.
Tasks include but aren’t limited to:
- Design and produce digital assets across social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok and Discord. Banners, graphics, carousels, infographics, thumbnails and promotional materials built for each platform.
- Photo editing and retouching in Photoshop. Real photo work, not filters. Compositing, colour correction, skin retouching, background replacement and asset manipulation to a professional standard.
- Brand consistency across all deliverables. Every asset you produce should look like it belongs to the client, not like a generic template with their logo slapped on it.
- Campaign collaboration. Work closely with the marketing and strategy teams to translate campaign concepts into visuals that actually do the job. You need to understand the brief, not just execute it.
- Feedback and iteration. Revise and refine designs based on direction from clients and the internal team. Thick skin and fast turnarounds are both required.
- Trend awareness. Stay across what’s landing visually in AI, Web3 and crypto, and bring that understanding into the work. These audiences have seen everything. Generic doesn’t cut it.
Tools you’ll need to know:
Proficiency across the Adobe suite is essential. At minimum, you need to be strong in:
- Adobe Photoshop (required, and not just for basic tasks, we need real photo editing ability)
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe InDesign
- Figma
- Canva (for fast-turnaround social content)
Familiarity with AI design tools will be looked upon very favourably:
We’re building AI into our creative production workflows. Experience with any of the following puts you ahead:
- Midjourney or Adobe Firefly
- Adobe Photoshop Generative Fill
- Stable Diffusion or DALL-E
- Adobe Express or Canva AI
What we’re looking for:
Prior experience in a graphic design role is required. We need someone who can hit the ground running with a proven body of work behind them. If your portfolio shows strong photo editing alongside broader design skills, you’ll stand out.
We are looking for people who want to work in a fast-paced environment, show initiative and are hungry to learn.
To make sure our culture continues to incorporate everyone’s perspectives, we never discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, or marital, veteran, or disability status.
Send your CV and a link to your portfolio. No portfolio, no consideration. Let’s make something worth looking at.
