Role Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-driven Packaging Designer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in color theory, packaging for beauty and cosmetic products, and the ability to create production-ready artwork aligned with current market trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Create visually compelling and innovative packaging designs for beauty and cosmetic product lines
- Apply advanced understanding of color theory, color harmony, and professional color selection in all design work
- Develop packaging concepts from initial ideation to final execution while maintaining brand consistency
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, materials, and innovations in the global packaging industry
- Design packaging structures including boxes, labels, bottles, and tubes using accurate dielines
- Prepare high-quality, print-ready files with correct specifications such as bleed, trim, resolution, and color formats (CMYK/Pantone)
- Demonstrate solid knowledge of printing techniques including offset, digital, flexographic, embossing, debossing, and foil stamping
- Collaborate with marketing, branding, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals
- Review and proof packaging artwork before production to ensure accuracy and minimize errors
- Communicate with manufacturers and print vendors to ensure smooth execution and high-quality output
Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience in packaging design, preferably in beauty or cosmetic products
- Strong expertise in color theory and premium color application
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Good understanding of packaging materials, finishes, and production processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote work environment
