Martian Studios is an Emmy-winning television, movie, cartoon, graphics, podcast, and interactive experience production company. Our work ranges from government to finance to health technology to motion pictures to philanthropies to fandoms to boardgames. We prize skill, imagination, proactivity, and most of all: integrity. We are seeking a work-from-home, well-trained graphic designer to participate in a variety of commerical, educational, and entertainment projects.

• $27 - $37 per hour, DOE
• 15 - 35 hours per week
• Primary residence must be in Utah or Minnesota. Please do not apply if this is not the case.

REQUIRED:

• Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Expertise in a variety of modern graphic design styles, techniques, logos, typography, etc.
• Ability to implement AI tools in ideation and development
• Ability to work on boring corporate projects (making them cool and exciting), and an interest in speculative fields like fantasy and science fiction
• Short cover letter introducing yourself, resume, and link to portfolio
• Portfolio should showcase a variety of styles and clients, and examples of work for print and digital

RECOMMENDED:

• Expertise in PowerPoint
• Expertise in Figma
• Experience in UX design for web and apps
• Some familiarity with AfterEffects is nice, but not required
• Formal graphic design training, minimum BA preferred
