💼 About the Role
As a
Fundraising Graphic Designer
, you’ll create campaign visuals that elevate the donor experience from first impression to long-term loyalty. You’ll design multi-channel creative that captures attention, tells stories, and drives giving, all while maintaining brand consistency and emotional resonance.
You’ll work on the Marketing Team and support the Fundraising Team to bring campaigns to life across digital and print touchpoints.
🧠 What You’ll Do
Creative Design & Production
- Design compelling assets for email, landing pages, paid ads, social media, direct mail, event collateral, and donor stewardship materials.
- Translate creative briefs and data insights into visuals that convert.
- Create multiple design variants for A/B testing, ensuring clear visual hierarchy and message clarity.
- Maintain accessibility, responsiveness, and performance best practices across formats.
- Develop and adapt design systems and templates for clients and internal use.
Brand Development & Consistency
- Steward and evolve client brands, maintaining consistency across all donor touchpoints.
- Create and manage campaign moodboards, style guides, and design toolkits.
- Source, edit, and manage imagery (photography, stock, illustration) aligned with ethical storytelling and DEI standards.
Collaboration & Workflow
- Collaborate closely with strategists, copywriters, and account managers to align visuals with strategy.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Participate in creative reviews and present design rationale clearly and confidently.
🧩 Who You Are
- 3–5 years’ experience as a designer in fundraising, advocacy, or mission-driven marketing (agency or nonprofit).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating direct-response design and emotionally intelligent storytelling.
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma and Canva.
- Understanding of donor psychology, UX/UI principles, and mobile-first design.
- Detail-oriented with strong typographic, layout, and composition skills.
- Able to balance creative excellence with performance goals (CTR, CVR, average gift).
- Organized, collaborative, and eager to test, learn, and evolve.
Bonus Points
- Experience with motion graphics, video editing, or simple animation.
- Familiarity with direct mail production specs and prepress.
- Experience designing for faith-based or equity-driven organizations.
