Summary

Forge Apollo is an award-winning video and digital marketing agency seeking an experienced Freelance Website Designer to support our creative team on a project-by-project basis. This role focuses on designing visually compelling, user-centric mockups that are presented as one of several creative options for clients during the website design process.

This is a senior-level, concept-focused role ideal for designers who enjoy layout exploration, visual storytelling, and marketing-driven design—without ongoing client communication or development work.

Responsibilities

• Design mockups in Adobe XD or Figma based on provided creative direction, brand guidelines, and marketing goals
• Create distinct design variations to present clients with clear creative options
• Apply UI and UX best practices to ensure designs are intuitive, visually engaging, and conversion-focused
• Complete up to three rounds of revisions per mockup based on internal and client feedback
• Collaborate with Forge Apollo’s Marketing Team to align design with strategy and brand standards
• Deliver clean, organized, presentation-ready mockups for client review and developer handoff

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of professional website design experience
• Strong portfolio showcasing modern, clean website and homepage designs
• Proficiency in Figma or Adobe XD (all mockups must be designed in one of these tools)
• Strong understanding of layout, visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, and UX principles
• Ability to take creative direction and incorporate feedback efficiently
• Strong communication skills and reliable, on-time delivery
• Comfortable working independently in a freelance environment
• Experience designing marketing-driven or conversion-focused websites

Compensation

• $500+ per mockup (dependent on experience & skill level)
• Includes up to three rounds of edits
• Paid per project phases via PayPal
• No benefits (freelance role)
