Role Description:

This is a freelance role in a startup in Bengaluru. You will be closely working with the founder and responsible for day-to-day tasks related to designing intuitive user interfaces, improving user experiences, and iterating on the platform's visual elements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes for web and mobile interfaces.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to identify pain points and optimize user flows.
• Collaborate on branding elements, including icons, graphics, and responsive layouts.
• Iterate designs based on feedback from the founder and users to enhance onboarding and engagement.
• Ensure designs align with accessibility standards and best practices for a marketplace platform.
• Assist in A/B testing of UI variations to improve conversion rates.
• Generate reports on design performance metrics and user feedback insights.
• Provide creative input to refine marketing assets and overall platform aesthetics.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in a startup or digital product environment.
• Proficiency in tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design software.
• Prior experience in a marketplace, SaaS, or B2C product is a plus.
• Strong visual design sense with excellent attention to detail and user-centered thinking.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced freelance setup.
• Analytical skills to interpret user data and iterate on designs effectively.
• Creative mindset with a passion for crafting seamless digital experiences.
