Role Description

This is a contract-based remote role for a Freelance Furniture Designer. The role involves creating original furniture concepts, designing functional and aesthetically pleasing pieces, and refining designs from concept through detailed production phases. The Furniture Designer will also collaborate with the design team to meet client requirements while adhering to high-quality standards and offering innovative solutions. We are also open to hiring architects who are looking to transition into a new career path.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Product Design
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD & Rhino is compulsory
• Experience with traditional rendering and concept sketching techniques
• Detail-oriented with a refined aesthetic sense
• Ability to collaborate effectively in remote, cross-functional environments
• Expertise in Furniture Design and understanding of the furniture production process
• Experience in Carpentry and knowledge of materials and construction techniques
