Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Formwork & Scaffolding Designer. The role involves preparing detailed designs and plans for formwork and scaffolding systems based on project requirements. Day-to-day tasks include developing accurate drawings, ensuring compliance with safety and construction standards, and coordinating with project teams to implement practical and efficient solutions. The Designer will also collaborate to optimize material usage and contribute to the overall construction planning process.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with formwork, scaffolding, and flatwork design principles
• Expertise in handling power tools and familiarity with heavy equipment related to formwork and scaffolding installation
• Background in carpentry and experience in hands-on construction projects
• Strong understanding of relevant engineering and safety standards in construction
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software is highly preferred
• Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with remote project teams
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field is a plus
