Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Systems Designer to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Develop comprehensive fire sprinkler system designs using advanced CAD software such as AutoCAD, AutoSPRINK and NavisWorks.
• Interpret and apply relevant codes and standards including NFPA codes & standards to ensure compliance and safety in all designs.
• Create detailed schematics, layouts, and technical drawings for fire sprinkler systems that integrate seamlessly with building plans.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, architects, and construction teams to optimize system performance and installation procedures.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and specifications to support project proposals and construction phases.
• Review design modifications, perform clash detection in 3D models, and ensure accuracy of all system components prior to fabrication and installation.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing fire sprinkler systems with proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, NavisWorks, Bluebeam, and AutoSPRINK.
• Familiarity with industry standards including NFPA codes & standards for fire protection systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions accurately.
• Excellent technical writing skills for preparing detailed reports and documentation.
• Understanding of construction processes related to fire protection systems installation.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD or Revit is essential for success in this role.
