Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our innovative engineering team. Duties
- Develop detailed fire sprinkler system designs using advanced CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and NavisWorks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Create comprehensive schematics, layout plans, and system design documents aligned with ASME codes & standards and local building regulations.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, contractors, and project managers to interpret design requirements and integrate system components seamlessly into overall building plans.
- Utilize technical writing skills to produce clear specifications, installation instructions, and project documentation for construction teams.
- Conduct 3D modeling and visualization of sprinkler systems using tools like SolidWorks, Creo, or Autodesk Inventor to facilitate project planning and client presentations.
- Perform FEA (Finite Element Analysis) simulations where necessary to validate system performance under various conditions.
- Review construction drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions to ensure mechanical integrity and manufacturability of sprinkler components.
Experience
- Proven experience in fire protection system design or mechanical engineering with a focus on plumbing or sprinkler systems.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, NavisWorks, Schematics, and 2D/3D drafting tools.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ASME codes & standards related to piping and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of mechanical design principles, system layout development, and construction practices within the fire protection sector.
- Experience working on complex projects involving system design, assembly drawings, technical documentation, and construction coordination.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately while adhering to safety regulations and quality standards.

Pay: $25.89 - $40.00 per hour
