About the role:

Through our programmes, we support jobseekers, entrepreneurs, and professionals to build the skills they need to access opportunity and drive positive change.

Our Studio team designs practical, accessible digital learning experiences that help people take action in the real world.

We are looking for a hands-on eLearning Designer to join the Studio team on a 3-months contract, 4 days per week.

You will receive structured lesson content in Google Docs and transform it into clear, engaging and well-designed digital learning modules. Once expectations and templates are agreed, you should feel confident working independently and delivering efficiently.

This role is focused on production and execution. It is ideal for someone who enjoys building, refining and shipping high-quality digital learning in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate structured written content into interactive eLearning modules
  • Build courses primarily in Articulate Rise or similar authoring tools
  • Improve on-screen readability, structure and learner flow
  • Design simple, effective interactions such as knowledge checks and scenarios
  • Edit and produce short learning videos, including trimming, captions and light visual enhancements
  • Use AI and digital tools where relevant to improve production speed and quality
  • Implement feedback accurately and conduct quality assurance checks before delivery

Qualifications:

  • Experience building digital learning using authoring tools
  • Strong digital fluency and confidence learning new platforms quickly
  • Ability to work independently once direction is clear
  • High attention to detail and strong quality control skills
  • Comfortable managing deadlines across multiple projects
  • A pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Articulate tools
  • Experience using AI tools in content or media production
  • Basic visual design skills
