About the Role

We’re looking for a 
creative, detail-oriented Editorial Layout Designer
 to help bring each issue of 
Sublime Avenue
, an international fashion and culture magazine, to life.

You’ll be responsible for transforming written articles, photography, and interviews into 
visually stunning magazine spreads in Canva
, ensuring a polished, consistent look aligned with our brand’s high-fashion editorial aesthetic.

This is a 
remote, project-based role
 based in Philippines, ideal for a designer who thrives on creative storytelling through layout, typography, and composition.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and format  bi-monthly magazine issues  (25–30 pages) using  Canva
• Apply consistent visual style, hierarchy, and typography throughout each issue
• Collaborate with editors to interpret article themes into elegant visual narratives
• Maintain and evolve the magazine’s  design templates, grids, and visual standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing  multi-page publications or magazines  in Canva (portfolio required)
• High proficiency in  Canva  (Brand Kits, shared templates, layout grids, typography tools)
• Strong sense of  editorial design, composition, and storytelling
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Bonus: Experience with fashion, lifestyle, or creative media publications

Workload & Compensation

• Each issue takes approximately  25–30 hours  to complete
• Publishing schedule:  1 issue every 2 months
• Compensation:  USD $250–$300 per issue  (depending on experience and quality)

This is a 
long-term remote opportunity
 for designers who want to grow with a global media brand and see their work published regularly. We are open to publishing more frequently if growth allows.
