Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced WalkMe contractor to join our Learning & Development team and lead the development, implementation, and optimization of digital adoption solutions. This contractor will work closely with our internal L&D team to create seamless user experiences that accelerate software adoption, reduce support tickets, and enhance employee productivity across our digital platforms.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
WalkMe Development & Implementation
Design and build comprehensive WalkMe solutions including Smart Walk-Thrus, SmartTips, Launchers, and SurveysCreate interactive guidance flows for new software rollouts, system updates, and process changesDevelop contextual help content and on-screen guidance to support user adoptionBuild and maintain WalkMe content libraries with reusable templates and best practicesConfigure advanced WalkMe features including segmentation, analytics, and A/B testing
Collaboration & Strategic Planning
Partner with L&D team to align WalkMe solutions with broader learning and performance support strategiesWork with IT and business stakeholders to understand system changes and user needsCollaborate with Learning Experience Designers to integrate WalkMe guidance with formal training programsSupport change management initiatives through strategic deployment of digital adoption toolsParticipate in project planning meetings and provide technical expertise on digital adoption solutions
Analytics & Optimization
Monitor WalkMe analytics to track user engagement, completion rates, and effectivenessGenerate reports on user adoption patterns and digital guidance performanceContinuously optimize content based on user feedback and analytics insightsConduct A/B testing to improve user experience and engagementProvide recommendations for improving digital adoption strategies
Quality Assurance & Maintenance
Test all WalkMe content across different browsers, devices, and user scenariosMaintain and update existing guidance as systems and processes evolveEnsure brand consistency and adherence to organizational design standardsDocument best practices and maintain technical specificationsProvide troubleshooting support for WalkMe-related issues
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Technical Expertise
WalkMe Certification preferred or demonstrated equivalent experience3+ years of hands-on experience with WalkMe platform development and administrationAdvanced proficiency in WalkMe Editor, including complex branching logic and conditional flowsExperience with WalkMe Analytics and performance measurement toolsUnderstanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for advanced customizationsFamiliarity with browser developer tools for troubleshooting and testing
Professional Experience
Experience in corporate digital adoption or change management projectsBackground in user experience (UX) design or instructional design preferredProject management experience with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneouslyExperience working with enterprise software (CRM, ERP, HRIS, LMS platforms)Previous contractor/consultant experience with ability to work independently
