About Gemm:

At Gemm, we're building the payment app that enables creator platforms, agencies, and brands to manage payments, compliance, and collaboration seamlessly. We’re looking for an eager designer to join and help shape the visual identity of our product across various platforms (web, mobile, and overall product design).

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Lead Designer to develop and iterate on design concepts for the website, mobile, and product interfaces.
• Create user-centric designs that are visually appealing, intuitive, and functional.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure designs are successfully implemented.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the overall design strategy.
• Assist in designing wireframes, prototypes, and UI/UX components.
• Support the team with asset creation for marketing materials and other design needs.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Design, Graphic Design, HCI, or a related field.
• Experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Strong understanding of design principles and the ability to create user-friendly designs.
• Familiarity with web and mobile design best practices.
• Passion for problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, growing startup environment.
• Portfolio showcasing previous design work (personal projects or academic projects welcome).
