This is a remote role that may only be hired in North Carolina.
We are seeking a designer with a strong focus on UI design to join our design system team in the Enterprise Digital Design organization. This role will collaborate with designers, product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to create strong enterprise design system solutions for all supported digital products, services, and channels. They will provide expert consultation on the creation of UI components to be integrated in the design system, as well as the digital experiences that utilize design system components. They will participate in design and user research (including usability testing) as a Digital Design team member and be involved in the creation of documentation and guidelines of UI components to ensure usage is efficient and effective.

Participates in practice of critiques, governance, and reviews; receiving and giving honest feedback that helps elevate the designed experiences.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in User Experience (UX) OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in User Experience (UX)
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of experience in User Experience (UX OR High School Diploma or GED and 7 years of experience in User Experience (UX)

Required Experience
Digital / UI Design skills including web design, motion, and experience with related tools (Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch) Experience working with design patterns and visual design systems including atomic design, design system of systems Understanding of modern front-end development practices; HTML, CSS, JavaScript, semantic markup, Design Tokens, WCAG AA standards; Responsive Web Design Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Familiarity with Content management systems (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, Supernova) Experience working in agile project environments Experience working within financial services industry
