Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Cybersecurity Curriculum Designer to craft engaging, effective, and learner-centered educational experiences. In this role, you will develop comprehensive curricula that align with instructional goals, utilizing your expertise in instructional design and learning technology. Your work will empower learners across various platforms by creating interactive content that enhances understanding and retention. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape educational programs that inspire and motivate diverse audiences in cybersecurity. Cybersecurity knowledge is not required.

Duties

• Design and develop curriculum content tailored to adult learners, incorporating best practices in instructional design and adult education principles
• Utilize ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) methodology to create structured learning experiences
• Develop engaging multimedia content using tools such as Adobe Captivate and other authoring software, ensuring compatibility with SCORM standards for LMS integration
• Manage projects efficiently by coordinating timelines, resources, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of curriculum materials
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather accurate content and translate complex concepts into clear instructional materials
• Build and maintain courses within Learning Management Systems (LMS) like Blackboard or similar platforms, ensuring accessibility and usability
• Incorporate assessment strategies to measure learner progress and program effectiveness, continuously refining content based on feedback

Requirements

• Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or training & development roles with a focus on adult education
• Strong knowledge of ADDIE model and project management principles for effective course creation
• Proficiency with LMS platforms such as Blackboard or equivalent learning management systems
• Hands-on experience with SCORM-compliant content development tools like Adobe Captivate or Articulate Storyline
• Solid understanding of learning technology trends including LMS integration, content development, and e-learning best practices
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams and presenting complex ideas clearly
• Demonstrated ability to develop engaging training materials using multimedia tools and visual storytelling techniques
• Classroom teaching or training experience is a plus, along with strong presentation skills and writing proficiency
• Cybersecurity experince is a plus
