This role is posted on behalf of the following client: An early-stage, venture-backed mobile gaming studio building a fast-growing RPG and monster-collection franchise. The team is fully remote and focused on shipping high-quality creative at speed, with a product that has earned recognition on major app platforms and is scaling rapidly.
Role Overview
This role is for a designer who treats design craft with the rigor of engineering—building visual systems, not just individual assets. The core focus is creating high-quality, on-brand performance marketing creatives (static and video) for a rapidly growing mobile RPG, partnering closely with user acquisition and product stakeholders, and iterating based on performance feedback while protecting and evolving the brand.
What You'll Do
- Own the visual quality and consistency of marketing creatives; create scroll-stopping static and video ads, apply and evolve brand guidelines, and iterate with UA/product partners based on performance and feedback.
- Build and maintain scalable design systems in Figma (auto-layout, components, variables, bulk editing) to maximize speed and leverage while producing large volumes of high-quality assets.
- Work asynchronously and transparently (e.g., screenshots/quick messages over meetings), rapidly translating raw concepts into polished deliverables, and stewarding the brand’s visual language as it expands across platforms.
Who You Are
- A fast, systems-minded designer who minimizes friction and can deliver high output without compromising aesthetics (e.g., able to produce many strong variations quickly through mastery of tools and templates).
- A versatile “creative-tool” operator comfortable moving between Figma and lightweight video/editing workflows (e.g., CapCut) and open to using AI for brainstorming/support when it improves speed without reducing quality.
- High-agency and detail-obsessed: comfortable operating without frequent syncs, able to catch tiny alignment/color issues, and able to balance performance marketing needs with strong art direction and brand integrity.
