Are you a UX/Ul & Graphic Designer expert with over 5 years of experience who's ready to co-found a startup and bring an innovative product to life from the ground up?
Our startup is searching for a UX/Ul Co-Founder to take the lead in designing our app. This is an equity-based role, with the potential to transition into a paid position after securing funding.
You won't just design screens — you'll build the user experience foundation, lead a team of design interns, and shape the direction of a mission-driven product that aims to create real-world value and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the end-to-end UX/Ul design for the MVP, creating user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Collaborate closely with the founder and development team to translate product features into intuitive designs.
• Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions and improve usability.
• Establish and maintain a cohesive design system and brand visual identity.
• Guide and mentor a team of design interns, ensuring alignment with product goals and timelines.
• Test and iterate designs quickly based on internal feedback and early user testing.
• Document design processes and systems to support future scaling.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in UX/Ul design for mobile and web platforms.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design, wireframing, prototyping, and final Ul design.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Experience working with development teams to implement designs accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
• Ability to commit 15-20 hours per week during the MVP phase.
