Role Description
This is a full-time remote opportunity for a Bag Designer at Winn & Clo. The Bag Designer will conceptualize and create innovative and stylish bag designs aligned with the brand's identity. Responsibilities will include trend research, material selection, sketching, creating prototypes, and collaborating with production teams for final execution. Additionally, the designer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive storytelling across collections and materials.
The role involves creating sketches, technical illustrations, and visual concepts for high-quality handbags.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in bag design, pattern making, and prototyping
- Proven experience in handbag design, with a portfolio showcasing previous work
- Strong knowledge of leather, fabrics, and other materials used in luxury handbags
- Strong skills in material selection, color theory, and trend analysis
- Knowledge of bag construction, hardware, and finishing techniques
- Ability to translate creative ideas into professional sketches and technical illustrations
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of luxury aesthetics
- Experience with software for design and technical drawing, such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, is preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with design and production teams
- Ability to adhere to brand aesthetics while innovating and incorporating timeless, trend-led design elements
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Previous experience in accessory or fashion design is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Accessory Design, or related field
