Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

We’re searching for an agile Design Program Manager to join our visionary team in a fully remote environment. This individual will be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team, and hold the following responsibilities:

• Act as a design liaison between the India design team and U.S.-based leadership
• Review design work from the India team, identify potential issues, and suggest improvements aligned with Android design patterns.
• Communicate design feedback and direction clearly across time zones, ensuring smooth collaboration and execution.
• Provide independent design critique and escalate concerns or blockers to leadership.
• Ensure designs are production-ready and aligned with software build timelines.
• Maintain consistent reporting and updates to U.S. stakeholders.
• Support execution of Android tablet-focused consumer products for the Indian market.

Must Haves:

• 8+ years of experience in Android design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating consumer-facing products.
• Must be available to work 2–3 hours overlapping with IST (India Standard Time)
• Deep understanding of Android design systems, patterns, and platform nuances.
• Experience with Figma and other modern design tools
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to work across cultures and time zones
• Experience in program management or design operations or design leadership
• Ability to work independently and provide strategic design guidance without being hands-on in only design work.
• Strong aesthetic visual design portfolio required***

• Background in interaction design and creative direction

Compensation:

$50 to $55/hour

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
