Role Description

This is a freelance remote role for an AI Designer. In this role, the AI Designer will conceptualize, design, and implement AI models and user interfaces. Responsibilities include conducting research to inform AI system design, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and iterating on prototypes based on user feedback. The AI Designer will also document design processes, create design assets, and ensure the usability and accessibility of AI-driven products.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AI design tools, user interface design, and user experience research
• Strong knowledge of machine learning concepts, data structures, and algorithm design principles
• Experience with prototyping, wireframing, and creating intuitive user interfaces
• Technical expertise in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or related languages
• Ability to collaborate with developers, data scientists, and stakeholders to align AI solutions with user needs
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills for presenting ideas and gathering feedback
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Artificial Intelligence, or related field preferred
• Prior experience in AI-focused design or relevant projects is a plus
