This role is ideal for early-career designers passionate about inclusive design and improving digital experiences for people of all abilities.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design and evaluation of accessible digital experiences across web and mobile
  • Assist in ensuring products meet accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1/2.2
  • Conduct accessibility audits and usability testing with diverse user groups
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and product teams to implement accessible solutions
  • Help create accessible design patterns, guidelines, and documentation
  • Identify and resolve accessibility issues in existing products
  • Advocate for inclusive design practices across the organisation

✅ Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, UX, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 0–2 years of experience in UX/UI or accessibility-related projects (internships welcome)
  • Basic understanding of accessibility principles and standards (e.g., WCAG)
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
  • Awareness of assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers) is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and empathy for diverse user needs
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Based in Australia with full working rights
