This role is ideal for early-career designers passionate about inclusive design and improving digital experiences for people of all abilities.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and evaluation of accessible digital experiences across web and mobile
- Assist in ensuring products meet accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1/2.2
- Conduct accessibility audits and usability testing with diverse user groups
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and product teams to implement accessible solutions
- Help create accessible design patterns, guidelines, and documentation
- Identify and resolve accessibility issues in existing products
- Advocate for inclusive design practices across the organisation
✅ Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, UX, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0–2 years of experience in UX/UI or accessibility-related projects (internships welcome)
- Basic understanding of accessibility principles and standards (e.g., WCAG)
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Awareness of assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and empathy for diverse user needs
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent in English
- Based in Australia with full working rights
