IMMEDIATE HIRE
Internal Business System focusing on workforce management and financial reporting. We need someone with systems design experience, this is not a website or e-commerce. We need experience with both web and mobile. You will be joining our team of 7 for this project.
About Us
Leading Edge Ag is building agOps360, an offline-first farm management system designed for real-world farming conditions. Our mission is simple: make technology that works reliably for farmers, even in the middle of a field with no signal. We’re a small, focused team obsessed with reliability, simplicity, and usability.
The Role
We’re looking for a UX/UI Product Designer who can bridge thoughtful user experience design with clear, intuitive user interfaces. You won’t be starting from scratch — you’ll be building upon and expanding our existing design foundations to make them stronger, more consistent, and easier for farmers to use. This is not about flashy design trends; it’s about clarity, speed, and ease of use in tough conditions.
What You’ll Do
- Expand and refine existing workflows, adding polish and consistency.
- Own the design process from iteration to high-fidelity UI.
- Ensure new features align with and build upon our established patterns.
- Conduct user interviews and field tests to validate improvements in real farm environments.
- Create clean, responsive UI systems (mobile-first) that scale across devices.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure designs translate cleanly into production.
- Contribute to and maintain a design system for consistency and speed.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design (startup or SaaS experience a plus).
- Strong portfolio showing iterative improvements on existing systems and user-centered workflows (mobile examples strongly preferred).
- Comfort designing for low-connectivity, offline-first, or high-reliability environments.
- Ability to conduct lightweight user research and usability testing.
- Proficiency in Figma or similar modern design tools.
- Bonus: experience designing for agriculture, IoT, or field-based tools.
Why Join Us
- Be part of a small team where your design work directly shapes the product.
- Build on an existing foundation while still having room for creativity and ownership.
- Work on real-world problems that impact farmers daily.
- Flexible, remote-friendly environment.
- Competitive compensation.
